Varanasi:
There was high drama at the Varanasi airport just hours ago. A Jet Airways flight from Delhi to Khajurao was delayed for over 5 hours after a passenger threatened to blow up the plane.
V R K Singh threatened to blow up the plane after he had an altercation with some of his co-passengers.
The Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) took the passenger into custody and questioned him for over two hours. He was let off after the questioning.
The flight was cleared for departure to Khajurao after extensive checking of the aircraft.
A Jet Airways spokesperson said the flight was delayed due to questioning of "certain guests" on security concerns by the airport authorities as well as security agencies.
