Medininagar, Jharkhand: Three ultras of Jharkhand Prastuti Committee (JPC), a breakaway group of Maoists, including its self-styled Commander Babulal Bhuyan, have been killed by Maoists at Tal village in Palamau district, the police said on Wednesday.
The bullet-riddled bodies were recovered on Wednesday morning and the Maoist guerrillas left a note claiming responsibility of the murders, Superintendent of Police Anup T Mathew told reporters in Medininagar in Jharkhand.
The rebels accused them of indulging in "crime", the SP said.
The other two victims were identified as Pradip Bhuyan and Bhutan Bhuyan, the police officer said adding JPC is a breakaway faction of the CPI (Maoist).
