Jodhpur:
The jailor of Jodhpur Central Jail, Bharat Bhushan Bhat, was killed by an inmate inside the prison complex on Saturday evening, a police official said.
Bhat, in his mid-fifties, was struck on the neck with a sharp-edged weapon by Narendra when the jail inmates were being taken back to their cells after their daily headcount in the prison located at Old Powerhouse locality, SHO Subhash Sharma said.
Bhatt was taken to Mahatma Gandhi hospital where he succumbed to injuries, he said.
