Karaikal, Pudducherry: The famous Lord Saneeswara temple at nearby Tirunallar in Union Territory of Puducherry would soon get a Rs three crore golden car and three wooden cars, temple authorities said.
The temple already has two wooden cars and its administration had decided to add three more wooden cars to be built at a cost of Rs 64 lakhs, temple Executive Officer Rajarajan Veerasamy said.
The golden car would measure 14-ft high and 8-ft broad, he said adding the work had already commenced and will be completed in a few months.
