Karnataka: Man kills children, attempts to murder wife

Bijapur, Karnataka: A man who killed his two minor children and then tried to kill his wife, was arrested on Friday at Hanumsagar village near Bijapur, police said.

The accused threw his two children - a seven-year-old boy and his three-year-old brother, and also his wife who he had poisoned - they said.

However, the woman survived, they said.

Doctors are also studying post-mortem report of the children to ascertain if they too were poisoned before being murdered.
