Lucknow:
A 10-year-old boy was kidnapped from his house in Alambagh area by three unidentified persons after drugging his family members, police said here today.
Aditya Banswal was kidnapped by three masked man, who entered his house in Prem Nagar colony forcibly, administered sedatives to his family members and decamped with cash and
other valuables yesterday, they said.
The incident came into fore when Aditya's mother regained consciousness and then informed the police.
The kidnappers also left behind a note demanding ransom for the safe release of Aditya, a class fifth student at Lucknow Public School, they said.
In a swift operation, the police rescued Aditya safely from a secluded place in Ajgain area in Unnao district last night, they said, adding that the kidnappers, however, managed to flee from the spot.
The kidnappers have been identified and efforts were being made to nab them, they said.
