Kidnapped girl rescued, abductor arrested

Jammu: A kidnapped girl was rescued and her abductor arrested in Jammu on Friday, police officials said.

Acting on a complaint by the parents of the minor girl that she had been kidnapped from village Falai Mandal area in Satwari belt of the city on December 15, a police team headed by an SHO raided several places in this connection, they said.

After a successful raid, police arrested kidnapper Raj Kumar and recovered the girl, they said adding girl was restored to her parents after a medical examination in Government Medical College (GMC) hospital in Jammu.
