Kidnapped youth found dead in Indore

Indore: A son of a businessman, who had been kidnapped for ransom, was today found dead, and police have picked up two people in this connection.
    
Samad (18), son of Gul Mohammad, a betel-nut dealer, was found dead with his hands and legs tied in the area under Khudial police station today. Prima facie, it appeared that he had been smothered, police said.
    
On March 23, Samad left the home stating that he was going to meet a passport agent, police said. When he did not return, his family members called on his cell phone.
    
The man who took the call said that Samad had been kidnapped, and demanded ransom of Rs five lakh for release.
    
Police said they had picked up two persons in connection with the offence.
    
This was the second incident of kidnapping here in last the 20 days. Gulshan Tejvani (21), son of an electronic goods seller from neighbouring Khandwa district, was abducted by his friends on March 5 here. He too was killed.
