Kodaikanal, Tamil Nadu:
A class IX student from Bhutan who came to study at the Kodaikanal Public school was allegedly molested by the founder of the school.
She was targeted when she skipped classes and stayed back in her room after falling sick.
The police are now searching for the 73-year-old educationist who runs a chain of schools in Tamil Nadu.
School authorities claim it is a false complaint by the girl's guardian. The student had defaulted in payment of school fees subsidised for her at Rs 500 a month. They also claim this is her guardian's false complaint to take on the school.
This is the second such case in Tamil Nadu in less than a year. In 2009, a teacher was arrested for molesting a child in a school toilet.
