Kolhapur: ACB arrested Mr Gadkari while receiving Rs 16,000 from the complainant on Thursday, said superintendent of police Digambar Pradhan.
The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) in Kolhapur has caught the city's mayor Trupti Avadhut Malvi for allegedly accepting a bribe of Rs 16,000.
Ms Malvi, an NCP leader, was caught after a local informed the ACB team about the mayor demanding money for granting him alternative land in the city.
According to ACB, she had demanded Rs 40,000 through her assistant Ashwin Gadkari.
