Lucknow:
More than a week after a girl was allegedly thrown from the seventh floor of an apartment, two persons accused in the murder case were arrested by the Uttar Pradesh Police on Monday.
Two men who allegedly flung 25-year-old Poonam Tiwari from the seventh floor of a flat in Ghazipur area had been arrested, a top police officer said.
Krishna Kumar Singh and Rakesh Tamta were caught near the Polytechnic crossing in the wee hours, Uttar Pradesh Additional Director General of Police Brij Lal told reporters here.
The flat, housed in the Kalyan Apartment, was being used to run a sex racket in the name of a massage parlour, he said.
On April 10, Poonam died after she was allegedly thrown from the balcony of the flat rented to Monu Singh alias Irfan-ur-Rehman.
