Lucknow: Protesting govt staff lathi-charged

Lucknow: There's been a lathi-charge on government employees demanding more salaries in Lucknow.

Over 100 state employees were demanding the implementation of the 6th pay commission outside the Vidhan Sabha on Thursday afternoon.

The protesters damaged several buses and a government vehicle as the police was trying to clear them out. The protesters then went inside a building and threw bricks to prevent the police from catching them.
