Pune:
A man was assaulted and robbed of valuables and a car on Sunday night by three men, who decamped with gold ornaments, a laptop and a car totally worth Rs4.25 lakh.
The victim, Rahul Dattatraya Mane (32) of Adinathnagar, Bhosari, lodged a complaint at Vishrambaug police station. The police said Rahul was sleeping at his printing shop at Narayan Peth on Sunday, when three unidentified persons entered the shop and assaulted him.
Police sub-inspector S Jagtap of Vishrambaug police station said, "The victim does not stay with his wife as there is a dispute between the two. He has a dispute with his brother over property too. We have recovered the car that was stolen by the suspects. We are investigating the case."
