A man was detained by the Army on Wednesday for allegedly trespassing into their Dehradun Road camp in Saharanpur, police said.
Mohd Azad, a resident of Bihar's Shahpur Chitri village in Supol district, was detained by Army personnel when he entered the camp taking cover of bushes, Additional Superintendent of Police Jagdish Sharma said, adding that the Army later handed him over to the local police station.
"He is trying to prove he is mentally ill and evading questions by intelligence agencies and police," said ASP Sharma.
