Mumbai:
An unidentified man lost his life when he fell down from the 5th floor of a building in Navy Nagar in Mumbai on early Thursday morning. It is still unclear whether it was a suicide, accident or if someone pushed him.
API Vijay Nafade from the Cuffe Parade police station confirmed the incident. "The investigation officer is PSI Jarag, he is at the hospital and is looking after case, he would be able to give the details," said Nafade.
When contacted, Jarag said that the man had jumped from the 5th floor at around 1 am, but his identity was unknown.
The guards at INHS Asvini, the hospital where the dead body was taken, confirmed that at around 1.30 am, an ambulance carrying a body had entered the hospital, accompanied by policemen.
