A 35-year-old man was charred to death when his car caught fire here this morning, police said.
Rupinder Singh, a resident of Karol Bagh, was in his car when it caught fire following a suspected short circuit when he was in Rohini Sector-16 at around 11:45 am.
A passerby noticed the car ablaze and informed police. Due to the short circuit, the car got locked as it has a central locking system and Singh got trapped inside.
A forensic team will examine the car to ascertain the exact cause of fire.
