Chhatarpur, Madhya Pradesh:
A domestic help was allegedly dragged on the road for an hour after being tied to a motorcycle by his employer who suspected him of stealing, police said on Friday.
The incident occurred on Thursday when a grain merchant, along with his associate, pulled up their servant on the suspicion of stealing a five kg weight used to weigh grains in their shop, police said.
Later, the trader Chotu Seth and his associate Madan Pandit tied Jagdish Sahu with a rope to a motorcycle and dragged him for nearly one hour on the road, police said.
Following a complaint in this regard, police arrested both Seth and Pandit and impounded the motorcycle and the rope used by them for the act.
Sahu was admitted to a hospital, police added.
