Batala:
A man was on Friday killed while his relative was seriously injured in a road rage incident near Harchowal village in Batala.
Gurbinder Singh and his brother-in-law Punjab Singh were going to their native Aulakh Kalan village on their motorcycles when car driver Gagan Singh allegedly refused to give them passage, police said.
Though, with the intervention of passersby, the parties were pacified and the relatives left the place on their motorcycles, Gagan allegedly hit Gurbinder's vehicle and crushed him to death.
Later, he allegedly rammed his car into Punjab's motorcycle too, but the car lost its balance and overturned, police said. Gagan fled from the spot when locals gathered to help Punjab, who had raised an alarm.
A case has been registered against Gagan, who has fled, they added.
