Dehra Dun:
A man allegedly stabbed his father to death over a property dispute at Rishikesh near here, police said today.
The incident took place yesterday when Vijendra (30), an unemployed man, asked his father Viruram Nautiyal (65) to divide his property among him and his two brothers, they said.
When Nautiyal refused to give in to his demand, Vijendra stabbed him, police said, adding the victim succumbed to injuries in hospital.
Vijendra was later arrested from the Rishikesh railway station, while he was trying to flee, they added.
