A 35-year-old man has allegedly killed his pregnant wife for refusing to have sex with him, and his mother who tried to intervene, at Mahuakhedi village near Raisen, police said on Wednesday.
Birjbihari Adivasi beat up his pregnant wife and hacked her to death, as she refused to sleep with him on Tuesday night, they said.
When his mother tried to intervene, he killed her too, police said, adding that the accused has been arrested and further probe is on.
