Berhampur, Orissa:
In a shocking incident, a man allegedly killed his wife and two sons, one of whom happens to be a police constable, in Ganjam district on Tuesday evening and surrendered before the police later on.
The accused, identified as B Hadibandhu Dora, was working as a security guard in a unit of Indian Rare Earths Limited, located near his village at Kaliabali, police said.
The deceased were identified as his wife B Nilima (45), B Jagannath Dora (28), who worked as a police constable at Chhatrapur, and nine-year-old son Chikunu.
Hadibandhu was believed to have used a sharp weapon to kill the three, they said.
Police suspected the gruesome incident was the fallout of a family dispute, said inspector in-charge of Chhatrapur PS Dillip Kumar Tripathy.
The accused went to the police station at Chhatrapur after committing the crime and surrendered himself.
