Munger: A man angry with his wife for giving birth to daughters strangled her to death at their home in Govindpur village in Bihar's Munger district on Friday.
Munger Deputy Superintendent of Police Ranjan Kumar said the man was angry with his wife for not bearing him a son and giving birth to their fifth daughter during the day.
The police were alerted by the neighbours and the man has been absconding since the gruesome act, he added.
