Kurnool:
A man allegedly killed his mother and wife by hitting them with a boulder in Kurnool district,
police said on Saturday.
The incident took place at Yemmiganur town of Kurnool district late last night when V Veeresh, a labourer reportedly in an inebriated condition, allegedly hit his wife and mother on their heads when they were asleep in their house, police said.
Later, he also inflicted injuries on himself, police added.
"Veeresh used to frequently demand money from his mother and wife for liquor and quarrelled with them over the issue. Besides, he also suspected their fidelity. It seems he killed them over these issues. We have arrested the accused," police told PTI.
An autopsy was conducted following which a case of murder has been registered and further investigations were on.
