Man sets sister, self on fire at Madurai hospital

Madurai: A 32-year-old man allegedly poured petrol on his sister and set her ablaze at a private hospital here today, police said.

Later he also committed self-immolation, police added.

Police said the woman, married recently, was suffering from a mental disease following which her husband had sent her to her parents' house.

She was undergoing treatment at a private hospital, they added.
