As a young TCS employee is fighting for her life in a hospital near Mumbai, the man who rushed her to hospital says he was threatened on Saturday by three men on a motorcycle. The police released sketches of them this evening.
The eye-witness took Swapnali Lad (24), who works with software giant TCS, to a hospital after she jumped out of a moving auto-rickshaw on Saturday evening, allegedly, because the driver attempted to take a strange route.
The eye-witness told the police the three men stopped him at the spot where Ms Lad had jumped off the auto in Thane on the outskirts of Mumbai. They then threatened him and asked him as to why he helped Ms Lad.
The driver who is accused of trying to kidnap Ms Lad has not yet been found.
