Massive fire breaks out at oil factory in Varanasi

Varanasi: Firefighters are trying to control a massive blaze which broke out in the Jhunjhunwala Oil Factory in Sarnath, on the outskirts of Varanasi today. Firefighting has been underway for over two hours.

The management of the oil factory says that all workers have been rescued and none are feared trapped inside the factory.

Besides the fire department officials, Indian Oil firefighters are also trying to help douse the fire. The cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained.

Jhunjhunwala's are manufacturers of edible oils.
