Mathura: 12 killed in temple stampede

Mathura: At least 12 people were injured yesterday when a stampede broke out in Banke Bihari temple in Vrindavan in the district.

The stampede broke out as a large number of devotees had thronged the temple.

The injured include a 92-year-old man and a woman homeguard, police said.

The injured have been admitted to various hospitals.
