Latur: A 19-year-old girl pursuing MBBS in a medical college in Latur allegedly committed suicide on Friday, police said.
Ayesha Ameer Shaikh, a first year student at MIT Medical College, fatally shot herself using the licensed revolver of her father, who is a doctor, at her home.
Deputy Superintendent of Police, Shirish Sardeshpande, said the girl reportedly got less marks in her first year examination and ended her life out of frustration.
