Mumbai:
Central Railway (CR) will operate a mega block on its suburban sections on Sunday for carrying out important maintenance work. Maintenance work will be carried out on Up fast line between Mulund and Matunga stations from 11.00 am to 4.30 pm.
Due to this, Up fast line services leaving Thane from 10.50 am to 4.28 pm will be diverted on Up slow line and will halt at all stations between Mulund and Sion during the block period, CR officials said.
Mega block will be operated on Up and Dn harbour line between Vashi and Belapur stations from 11.00 am to 4.00 pm.
Hence, all Up line services for Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus (CST) leaving Belapur from 10.48 am to 4.09 pm will remain cancelled between Belapur and Vashi, the officials said.
All Dn services leaving Vashi from 10.57 am to 3.58 pm will remain cancelled between Vashi and Belapur.
However, special local trains will run on CSTVashi-CST and Belapur-PanvelBelapur sections during the block period, they said.
Harbour line services to Bandra and Andheri and back will run as per schedule, they said.
