Ghaziabad:
A man, suspected to be mentally ill, allegedly killed his two daughters when his wife was away at work, police said today.
The incident occurred on Wednesday evening when Anil Rai, who was unemployed and mentally disturbed, killed his daughters - Sanskriti and Muskan -- by drowning them in water tub in his house.
His wife Meera, who works as a security guard, found the house locked when she reached home last evening, they said.
She got the house opened with the help of her neighbours and found the girls dead, police said.
The bodies have been sent for a post mortem, they said adding that the father is absconding after the incident.
