Jamnagar:
A man believed to be mentally unstable allegedly killed his four-year-old daughter by stabbing her over 15 times with a sharp edged weapon in Alia village on Wednesday, police said.
The incident occurred when one Ashok Parmar, a labourer, was at his residence in the village with his daughter Ankita (4), they said.
According to police, Parmar allegedly stabbed his daughter over 15 times with a sharp weapon causing her death.
The girl's body has been sent for post-mortem, they said, adding that Parmar has been arrested and further investigation in the matter is on.
Police claimed that Parmar had attacked his wife six months ago, who later left him.
