Srinagar:
In Jammu and Kashmir a mother and daughter were among three killed in Kulgam and Pulwama late Sunday night.
In the first incident in Kulgam, four militants barged into the house of Mohammad Gorse to kill his brother Siraj - an alleged police informer. But when they did not find him there, they killed his wife, 40-year-old wife Shakeela and his daughter, 19-year-old Zareena.
In the second incident in Pulwama, militants killed Ghulam Nabi Wani, who was an employee of the social welfare department and also a national conference worker.
There is much local resentment against these killings in the holy month of Ramadan.
