Kottayam: In a bizarre incident a seven-year old kid helped his three-year old sister from drowning when they were thrown into a river by their mother who also jumped into it at Kovilkadavu in Marayoor in Idukki district last evening.
The body of Kavita(30), wife of Sivaraman, forest watcher, was not yet traced out, police said on Monday.
Jeeva (7), who caught hold of a pipe helped Kavya (3) from drowning.
The neighbours came to know about the incident when the duo informed their mother's sister, staying near-by.
