Mumbai: 3-year-old falls into manhole, dies

Mumbai: A 3-year-old boy was killed after he fell into an open manhole on Tuesday night on Mira Road on the outskirts of Mumbai.

The child and his mother went to buy some medicines in the night when the mother noticed that the child was not walking behind her.

She began looking for him and then  found his slipper floating in the manhole.

The fire brigade managed to remove his dead body around midnight.
