Mumbai building collapse: 5 killed, 26 injured

Mumbai: Five people are killed and nearly 26 injured after a two-storey building in Mumbai's Bhendi Bazaar collapsed.

All the injured have been admitted to JJ Hospital.

Five to six people were also feared to be trapped in the debris, said the Chief Fire Officer of the Mumbai Fire Brigade, Uday Tatkare.

Authorities suspect the building collapsed after a cylinder blast. Five of the injured have burn injuries, two of them are critical.

Rescue operations are underway.
