Mumbai: The corporator's PA who was arrested last week for impersonating a cop and extorting money has similar cases against him at Mira Road police station. On November 13, Mira Road police station arrested Tribhuvan Jaiswal, 37, personal assistant to Sheetal Mhatre, corporator of ward number one, Dahisar.
Jaiswal has cases of cheating and extortion against him at different police stations. He and his friends Ramsukh Rammurat Maurya, 32, Santosh Singh, 39, and Santosh Naik, 32, would roam around at night, posing as cops, with a police sticker on their car.
The matter came to light on October 29, after they tried to extort money from students who were filming a documentary on road accidents on Ghodbunder road.
