Mumbai:
A fire broke out on Thursday at a five star hotel in suburban Bandra, fire officials said.
The fire broke out at the basement of the Taj Land Ends at 1215 hours, officials said adding the reason behind the fire is yet to be ascertained.
"Three fire engines and two water tankers were rushed to the hotel and the fire was immediately doused. There have been no casualties or injury to anyone," the officials said.

"There was a minor fire in the Spa section at Taj Lands End today which caused some smoke to come into the lobby area. The fire was immediately put out by the staff and as a precaution the fire brigade was called for and all public area guests were requested to clear the lobby area. All our staff and guests are safe and there has been no damage to property. As of now activities are back to normal at Taj Land's End."
