Mumbai: Kingfisher plane grounded after bird-hit

Mumbai: A Kingfisher Airlines flight IT 302 was grounded at the Mumbai airport after it suffered a bird-hit on Monday morning.

The plane was heading from Delhi to Mumbai.

All the 153 passengers and seven crew members are reportedly safe and the plane made a normal landing at 08:12 am.

As per sources, the engine of the plane, an Airbus, was damaged due to the impact.
