"We reached the water parkaround noon. When we asked about lockers we were told there weren't anyavailable. We were then asked to leave our baggages on the rack and were issueda receipt. The authorities assured that our stuff will remain safe," saidYash Shah (name changed), a resident of Kandivli and a student of SVIS School.

Shah lost his shoes, which cost Rs1,000, but he was more upset because his SSC hall ticket was also misplaced."I am worried that I will not get my marksheet without the hall ticket.Moreover, it may get misused," he grumbled.
Another student lost his cellphoneand some cash, but he was most embarrassed, as he had to return home in atowel. All his clothes were stolen. "When I approached the management Irealised that I was not the only one who was looted," he said.
Even those who managed to get alocker were not safe. Shail Mehta, a student of Holy Paradise School,Vasai, lost his bag, which was kept in the locker. "My friends and I hadtaken a locker, but when we came back, our belongings were missing. The lockerwas closed, but our bags were thrown on the floor, and the money was gone.
