Mumbai trains back on schedule after accident

Thane: Normal train services have resumed as the three derailed bogies of aMumbai local have been cleared off the tracks. Trains on the centralline in Mumbai were delayed by over half-an-hour after three bogies ofa local train derailed outside the Thane station early on Thursdaymorning.

No casualties were reported. The train was moving towards the platform from the yard and had no passengers onboard.

Trains running on this track were diverted to another track, but the derailment caused other trains on the central line to be delayed.
