In a suspected case of honour killing, a Dalit boy was poisoned to death allegedly by the girl's family members, who were opposed to their relationship.
24-year-old Satbir was allegedly in a relationship with 21-year-old Puja was found dead on Sunday in Saherji village, police said.
The victim's brother Rajesh has alleged in his complaint that Satbir was poisoned to death by Puja's family members for tarnishing their image, Deputy SP Anand Kumar told PTI.
Satbir's body had been sent for postmortem to ascertain whether it was a case of suicide or murder, he said.
