Muzaffarnagar:
A Dalit couple allegedly committed suicide by consuming poison after girl's family members objected to their relationship at Kapoor village in Saharanpur district, police said on Friday.
Tinku (25) and Soni (22) committed suicide on Thursday after which their bodies were cremated by the girl's family without informing the police, SSP Amit Chandra said.
He, however, ruled the possibility of honor killing. A suicide case has been registered and investigation is on.
