Muzaffarnagar:
A thirty-year-old woman has been arrested for allegedly murdering her husband with the help of her paramour in Kallarpur village in Muzaffarnagar, police said on Monday.
The accused, identified as Babli, had an illicit relationship with 20-year-old Sheetal and the duo strangulated her 40-year-old husband Ombir after a heated argument at her residence, police said.
While Babli has been arrested, Sheetal is absconding, they added.
This is the second such incident in the district in four days where a husband has been killed by his wife.
Thirty-year-old Rima was arrested on August 12 along with her 30-year-old paramour Arvind at Datyana village in Muzaffarnagar for killing her husband Ravindra with a blunt weapon as he opposed their illicit relationship.
