Nagpur : Nagpur Police claims that the case involving the rape of a 12-year-old girl has been cracked.
Police say they have arrested a man who they claim assaulted the child in the school compound early on Tuesday morning, just before classes began.
The Vice-Principal of the school, meanwhile, has denied the involvement of any of the school staff in the incident and said there was no negligence on part of the school administration.
The girl was discharged from hospital today. In her statement, she has said that she was threatened. She has also said the accused was not known to her.
