Nagpur: A seventeen-year-old junior college student committed suicide by hanging herself at her residence here, police said on Wednesday.
Shivangi Rawat, daughter of an Army Colonel, posted here, ended her life by hanging herself from a ceiling fan using a 'dupatta', they said.
She was found hanging in her bedroom and the incident came to light when Shivangi did not respond to knocks on the door by her mother this morning.
The reason behind the extreme step is not known and further investigations are on, they added.
