Erode: A new born girl child was found in a dustbin, police said on Saturday.
Though the locals rushed the baby to hospital, the doctors said the child was brought dead, official sources said.
According to police, a waste paper picker in Kallukadaimedu noticed a woman throwing a plastic bag into the dustbin.
When he rushed to the bin, he noticed a just born baby girl covered with cloth kept in a plastic bag.
He informed the locals and took the baby to a private hospital. However the doctors said it was brought dead.
