Nalanda: Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has suspended all cops involved in a lathicharge on women protesters in Nalanda on Wednesday.
Several women were injured when the police resorted to lathicharge to disperse protesters demanding a probe into the mysterious disappearance of a woman on August 24.
They alleged that the woman was murdered and her body disposed off. Angry protesters surrounded the police station and pelted stones.
Police said they had to resort to lathicharge to disperse the crowd.
Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has also ordered a probe into the incident.
