Bramhapuri town recorded the highest temperature 47.6 degree Celsius, followed by Chandrapur at 47 degrees and neighbouring Wardha at 46.9 degrees.
Nagpur recorded 46.6 degree Celsius followed by Amravati at 44.6, Akola at 44.5, Yavatmal at 43.2 and Washim 42.2 degree Celsius, the MET department said.
