Vadodara:
A 30-year-old NRI woman was found murdered on Thursday at her farmhouse in Sokgakurd village here, police said. The woman was identified as Payal Soni. Police suspect involvement of Paresh Patel, a watchman, who is absconding.
There were serious injuries to Payal's head.
Police have recovered an axe from the premises, while victim's mobile phone, diary and laptop are missing.
Patel and his family lived inside the premises, police said.
According to police, Soni had sacked Patel four days ago after finding him in a drunken condition but later allowed him to stay on when he gave a written apology.
