New Delhi:
An NRI woman was robbed of her gold chain by unknown men who were armed and on motorcycle in east Delhi, police said on Sunday.
The woman, who resides in the US, was on her way to her sister's residence in Priyadarshini Vihar near Laxmi Nagar last evening when the incident took place.
"She was in a rickshaw when the robbers snatched her chain," a senior police official said.
The woman, whose identity was not revealed by police, claimed that the chain she was wearing was worth lakhs of rupees.
